Welcome to Baseball SA-HQ! Many websites and blogs across the
web analyze baseball, each in their own, unique way. At this site, I will use mathematical functions to gain a better understanding
of Major League Baseball. All of my analyses will include objective information and data, but will not escape my own biased
opinion.

Always remember to visit the article page, which will be updated as often as possible. For your best enjoyment of the
site try to view all pages, especially the Information page, to be up to date at what is going on at the site.
New Domain Name! Now when visiting the site, all you need to type in the URL bar is "baseballstathq.com"

I was told by a friend that because I bought the music playing--"Tessie" by the Dropkick Murphys--allowing it to play
on the site is legal. It cost $0.99 on iTunes, but if you believe it is an illegal use of the track by letting it play
over and over on the internet please e-mail me here.
Please don't copy or do anything with the music, however. I thought and still think that it is a cool addition to the
site's homepage.
The song only plays on this homepage, so feel free to navigate around the site and read articles without the disturbance
of the music.
"Tessie" is an old song from 1903 when the Boston Pilgrims (aka Boston Americans) played the Pittsburgh Pirates. A group
of drunks called the Royal Rooters, led by Third Base pub owner "Nuff Ced" McGreevy, owned season tickets to the then Boston
ballpark named Huntington Grounds.
The song has been revamped by the Dropkick Murphys, who go on to describe how the Rooters' seats were sold to some ordinary
fans during a World Series game (owners were very greedy and pulled some not so legitimate moves).
